The process

From quote to clarity in four steps.

ZunoQuote turns a contractor estimate into a clear review you can use to decide whether to approve, question, compare, or push back on the quote.

01

Upload your quote

Take a photo or upload a PDF of an HVAC or plumbing estimate. We accept contractor invoices, written quotes, and typed breakdowns.

Supported: PDF, JPG, PNG, HEIC. Max 20 MB. Start with a single quote and review the findings before you commit.

02

We read and organize the estimate

Our OCR and analysis pipeline reads the estimate, pulls out the major line items, and organizes them into structured quote data.

That includes equipment references, labor, materials, fees, and other scope clues that make the quote easier to review.

03

We compare the quote to pricing context

The estimate is reviewed against benchmark data and quote context so you can see where charges look fair, high, vague, or incomplete.

Location and job context help shape the review, and the result is translated into homeowner-friendly findings rather than raw estimate math alone.

04

Get your report in minutes

You receive a clear quote review with pricing signals, missing-scope findings, red flags, and practical follow-up questions to ask before signing.

Most reports are ready quickly, and you can revisit the analysis later, download it, or use it while comparing contractors.

Independent by design

We do not depend on contractor referrals or contractor advertising. The product is built to help homeowners read quotes more clearly.

Context, not guesswork

We use pricing context, quote structure, and scope signals to help you understand where a quote deserves a closer look.

Private by default

Your uploaded quotes are handled as customer documents, not public examples, and they are not shared with contractors.

Frequently asked

Questions before you start

What types of quotes do you analyze?

Currently HVAC and plumbing quotes. That includes replacements, repairs, new installs, and many common service-call estimates.

How accurate are the benchmarks?

Our review is informed by local pricing context, permit data, supplier inputs, and structured quote patterns. It is designed to help homeowners spot pricing issues and missing scope, not to replace a licensed in-person inspection or formal appraisal.

Do you work with contractors?

No. ZunoQuote does not earn referral fees from contractors or sell contractor leads. The product is built for homeowners who want an independent second look at a quote.

How long does an analysis take?

Most reports are ready in a few minutes. Simpler quotes can finish faster, while larger or lower-quality files may take longer.

What if my quote is handwritten or poorly formatted?

We can handle many imperfect estimates, but document quality still matters. If the upload is too unclear to review properly, we will ask you to try again and you won't be charged for a failed extraction.

Is my data private?

Your quote data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not share your uploaded documents with contractors or use them as marketing material.
